Xbox Series X stick drift already?
My controller has developed a slight drift on the left stick after a few months of regular use, and it's making precision movement a bit tricky. I’ve tried the basic cleaning steps, but I’m wondering if there’s a more permanent solution than just using compressed air. Is it worth looking into a professional repair, or are there settings I can adjust in the console?

Stick drift is literally the bane of my existence and it’s ridiculous that these expensive controllers fail so quickly now. I was about to just toss mine and buy a new one until I read a thread on https://xbox.pissedconsumer.com/review.html about their secret replacement policy for certain manufacturing batches. If you're still within the first year, they'll usually ship you a refurbished unit for free as long as you haven't opened up the shell yourself.
